Development Manager I Apartments I Retirement Living

This is an opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to join one of Australia's largest Retirement Living and Affordable Housing Development Groups. Developments are mostly comprised of medium-high-density apartment projects with a community focus and some mixed-use facilities within the master plan.

The group has an extensive multi-year development pipeline and offers career growth within a stable well-funded environment.

The role encompasses full responsibility for the project program from strategy & visioning, business case feasibility, planning, and design development through to oversight of project completion.

Ideally, you will have experience with managing the financial and physical performance of similar scale projects including;

• Managing the tender process and design development
• Reviewing the preparation of contract documents
• Managing the Council development approval process
• Overseeing the delivery of developments
• Monitoring progress & risk minimization to secure optimum financial return
• Overseeing practical completion through liaison with external consultants and builders.

The salary guide is $150,000++ - $250,000k package per annum depending on experience.
